Rosemary

At night when everyone is asleep
Rosemary's lying awake.
Holding a picture at her chest
Waiting for her friend to come
But he's on the road.

For two days a week she works at a factory
Four miles from home.
There she met a younger guy
A nineteen year old
Bright and handsome.

Refrein:

Now her friend went home and things have been changed,
Such a shame
Still picture his old cartoons but nothing seems the same.
Now he wakes up, and all he sees feels like misery
Maybe he won't understand but Rosemary loves another man.

Now he's driving more than ever
It's his way to learn with it.
Sometimes he is crying after his wheel
Thinking about the facts
And it feels not right.

Refrein.

And sorry is not always the way you can choose.
Words can bring you down or lift you up.
And sorry is not always the way you can choose.
Words can bring you down or lift you up.

Sometimes you would runaway from your place and thoughts.
Sometimes you would runaway from your place and thoughts.

And live in your dreams
And live in your dreams
And live in your dreams
